Who we are

Your Drama Tutor provides online GCSE and A Level Drama tuition. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. For any question about this policy, contact sophiewinby97@gmail.com.

What we collect

  • Contact details you give us directly, such as your name, email address and phone number when you enquire or book a consultation.
  • Information about the student, such as year group, exam board and current or target grades, where you choose to share it so lessons can be tailored.
  • Messages and lesson-related notes, including work submitted for feedback.

How we use it

  • To reply to enquiries and arrange consultations and lessons.
  • To plan, deliver and follow up on tuition.
  • To send practical information about sessions you have booked.
  • To keep basic records for invoicing and accounting.

Booking and third-party services

Consultations are booked through Calendly, and any details you enter there are handled under Calendly's own privacy policy. Email correspondence is handled by our email provider. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else except where we are required to by law or where it is necessary to safeguard a child.

Students under 18

Most students are under 18. Bookings and correspondence are expected to be made by a parent or guardian, and we only hold information about a student that a parent or guardian has provided or agreed to.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and lesson information for as long as we are working together and for a reasonable period afterwards, and financial records for as long as required for tax purposes. After that it is deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email sophiewinby97@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not happy with our response you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
